Viorel Manea

Food & Beverage Manager

Viorel is an outstanding Banqueting professional, with a 19-year experience in the field. He started out with Intercontinental Bucharest, at the Brasserie, and moved over to Crowne Plaza in September 1999 as waiter in the Banqueting Department. Since 2010 he has coordinated the Banqueting activity, with all types of business, social, diplomatic and high-profile events, both inside the Crowne Plaza and in outside venues. You can rely on Viorel’s advice and professional insight in the most complex situations.

Petrut Constantin

Assistant Banqueting Manager

Constantin is Assistant Banqueting Manager, in charge of contributing to the operational perfection of all in-house and outside events by Crowne Plaza. Constantin has a long history in Food & Beverage with Crowne Plaza Bucharest, having started as early as 1999 as waiter in Banqueting. Since 2007 he has coordinated hundreds of events, from the typical parties, cocktails, receptions and conferences to large-scale outside caterings.

Sorin Tiuga

Assistant Catering Manager

Sorin has been a hospitality professional for 14 years, having worked in Banqueting all this time. He has a large experience in event organization and management, an experience which he likes to tailor for every new client in order to deliver excellence for every single event. Sorin currently holds the Assistant Banqueting Manager position within the Crowne Plaza team.

Andra Costescu

Director of Sales & Maketing

Andra is Director of the Sales & Marketing department of the Crowne Plaza Bucharest. A highly dynamic, pro-active and initiative-driven hospitality professional, Andra has extensive sales experience with the IHG chain, having worked previously in the Sales Department of Intercontinental Bucharest for 5 years. In September of 2015, her team received a special IHG recognition for spectacular growth of a franchised property. Andra is a graduate of the Romanian – American University, having majored in Management and Tourism.

Roxana Turcu

Sales Account Manager

Roxana is an outstanding hospitality professional, with vast experience in event management. After 4 years with the Athénée Palace Hilton events team where she coordinated complex galas and conferences, she joined the Crowne Plaza Bucharest family first as events manager and then as regional sales manager for ANA Hotels.  Calm, composed and extremely efficient, Roxana turns every customer into a friend!

Florentina Moise

Convention Sales Manager

Florentina Moise has been a member of the Crowne Plaza events team since 2010 and has coordinated over 300 private and corporate events. Florentina is a highly energetic professional, with a sparkling smile and a great personality. Very keen on self-development, she is certified in Project Management, Tourism and Hotel Management and has won a special award for creativity and skill in the “Future Managers” Business Club.

Laura Tase

Convention Sales Manager

With a legal academic background and a large experience in event management in travel agencies, Laura is highly skilled in catering to every single detail with the utmost precision. Her portfolio includes national and international events, press conferences, seminars, congresses. She holds several certifications as tourism guide and travel agent.

Iuliana Simionica

Sales Account Executive

A graduate of foreign languages and communication studies, with an 8-year background in hospitality in Italy and Romania, both in Marketing and Sales, Iuliana is highly skilled and also a very pleasant personality who finds solutions to any challenge, be it from a customer or from a member of the team. She has been working for the past 4 years within the IHG chain, first in Intercontinental Bucharest, and since 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Bucharest.

Cristina Dona

Sales Account Executive

Cristina is a highly enthusiastic and passionate hospitality professional, who has gathered a complex experience in operational departments as well as in marketing and sales with two international hospitality brands. With a very good understanding of internal processes as well as of the “big picture” in event organization, she is keen on finding the best solution for the client. She has been a member of the Crowne Plaza Sales team since 2010

Anamaria Steinberg

Convention Sales Executive

Anamaria is an experienced events coordinator, with a 6-year experience in the field and more than 500 corporate and private events in her portfolio. She is a graduate of the Geography Faculty, with a double Geography-French major. Anamaria also used to work as a travel agent, being certified for the IATA/UFTAA Foundation Course.
